https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/luke-murrells-tips/

Week: 82.5 units profit (77.1% POT)

Overall: 629.7 units profit (6.8% POT)

Absolutely mammoth week. Big start to the week on Monday, with wins to Call Me Mo $3.20 & Stratacheva $8, Da Power ran 2nd at $4.40. Minor loss at Wyong on Tuesday, one collect with Joigny saluting at $2.40. Profitable day at Canterbury on Wednesday, winners were Bel Diablo $10.70 & Savoury $4.05. Strong day at Kembla on Thursday thanks to Agosto $2.15 & Holy Reign $2.90 both getting the job done for us. Massive day on Saturday making a remarkable 52u profit for the day. Winners were Our Candidate $5.50, Ligulate $11, Hibiscus Lady $2.45, Lucicello $3.50 & Assertive Approach $3.60. Great day on Sunday to close out a huge week, winners were Love Me Quietly $4.80 & Schappose $3.90. Over 600 units worth of 2nd placings over the past 4 months. 125 units profit at 27% POT over the past 6 weeks.

Dean’s Tips

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/deans-tips/

Week: 9.4 units profit (56.0% POT)

Overall: 685.0 units profit (7.7% POT)

It was a great start to the week on Wednesday driven by Jinda getting the job done for us at Sandown paying $38. Falls $6.50, Shot Of Irish $3.70 & Get Over It $6 all ran 2nd. A win on Saturday to close out the week. Freddie Fox Trot won at $3.90 which went along with a big place result thanks to EW play Pennino running a narrow 2nd at $71 ($16 place). Plumaro $10.20, Goodfella $16 & Unbiased $4.80 also ran 2nd. In total 60 units worth of 2nds for the week. Winter going well with 55 units profit at 32% POT over the past 9 weeks.

Here’s what Dean had to say:

Nice day on Wednesday with Jinda winning at $38 (they bet as much as $80 on Betfair). We also had a string of close 2nds with Falls at $6.50 (head), Shot Of Irish $3.70 (long neck) and Get Over It $6 all going close.

We made a profit on Saturday also but wow, what a day it could have been.

Pennino who we backed strongly each way at 70/1 ($81 available) nearly made it a mammoth day. The horse settled back last and wide, then got hampered on the turn when going to make its run. Absolutely charged home for 2nd beaten a head. 50m past the post the horse was 3L in front of the rest of the field. A 35 to 40 unit collect going down by the narrowest of margins.

In the Winter Challenge we backed Goodfella $16 and Eckstein $5 and they ran 2nd and 3rd, with Goodfella beaten a head

In the Townsville Cup we backed Unbiased $5 & Hardern $5 and they ran 2nd and 3rd, with Unbiased beaten a head

At Eagle Farm we backed Plumaro $10 and Blue Comet $21, and they also ran 2nd and 3rd.

To have so many close calls and still make a 9 unit profit at 55% POT is very pleasing. Shows we are all around it and finding the right races and horses which bodes well for a big Spring ahead.

In total a remarkable 60 units worth of 2nd placings this week, most of them beaten under a neck. But still a strong profit to show for it regardless.

Over 50 units profit the past couple of weeks in what has been a very fruitful winter period.

Catch you during the week.

Trial Spy

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/trial-spy/

Week: 7.0 units profit (78.7% POT)

Overall: 731.4 units profit (9.9% POT)

Nice start to the week on Wednesday thanks to Mistress Mouse leading all the way for us at $18.20. Small loss Thursday before a good day on Saturday. Winners were Lucicello $3.50, Katy Boom $8 & Deep Force $1.70. Version Two ran 2nd at $5.50. We sit at a massive 162u profit over the past 14 months.

Here’s what Dean had to say:

Another good week delivering 7u profit at 78% POT.

Mistress Mouse was a good winner at Canterbury on Wednesday at $18. They bet as much as $28 on Betfair close to start time.

On Thursday at Pinjarra, Sounds Of Then was backed in from $11 into $3 but could only manage 4th.

On Saturday we had a string of nice winners with Lucicello $3.50, Katy Boom $8 and Deep Force $1.70 all saluting.

Nice to deliver a strong week after a couple of poor ones. We now tick over 160u profit over the past 14 months.

NRL Tips

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/nrl-tips/

Week: -0.7 units profit (-7.8% POT)

Overall: -38.7 units profit (-19.0% POT)

Small profit to start the week on Thursday night with North Queensland +4.5 saluting. A loss Friday night before a profitable Saturday with Brisbane proving much too strong for Gold Coast. Small loss on Sunday with the Roosters unable to cover the line against the Bulldogs.

Blackbook Bets

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/blackbook-bets/

Week: -2.5 units profit (-38.5% POT)

Overall: 272.2 units profit (6.4% POT)

A loss on Wednesday with EW play Jack In The Ditch running 4th at $13.70. Small loss Friday before a minor profit on Saturday with both of our EW plays filling a place (Irish Mint $6 & Snitzepeg $12). Small profit on Sunday with Exalted Ruth saluting at $3.80. Despite the loss Blackbook Bets has delivered 57 units profit at 55% POT over the past 13 weeks.

WA Tips & Ratings

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/wa-tips-and-ratings-cameron-obrien/

Week: -2.9 units profit (-22.8% POT)

Overall: 72.5 units profit (15.1% POT)

Profitable day to kick off the week on Wednesday driven by False Statement saluting at $4.10. A loss at Pinjarra on Thursday, one winner was Fashion Forward at $8, Lucky Linda Lulu ran 2nd at $4. No result at Belmont on Saturday. Despite the losing week this service has made 72 units profit at a remarkable 15% POT over the past 11 months.

Golf

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/golf/

Week: -3.0 units profit (-100.0% POT)

Overall: 65.6 units profit (14.6% POT)

No result across the weekend for members. The closest we came to a result was Aaron Rai finishing T12 at $1000 in the St Jude Invitational.

AFL Tips

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/afl-tips/

Week: -3.5 units profit (-26.9% POT)

Overall: 4.1 units profit (2.4% POT)

Small loss on what was a busy Saturday, the highlight was Brisbane defeating Hawthorn. We also made a small profit on the West Coast vs North Melbourne game but Carlton defeating Adelaide was a tough result for us. No result Sunday to close out the week. 10.2% POT over the past 14 weeks.

NSW Tips & Ratings

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/nsw-tips-and-ratings/

Week: -3.7 units profit (-30.6% POT)

Overall: 118.7 units profit (11.2% POT)

A loss at Wyong on Tuesday to kick off the week, our one bet was heavily backed but performed well under par. Good day on Wednesday betting into two races which resulted in two winners (Light Exceed $7.75 & Knowitalljack $3.20). Disappointing day at Rosehill on Saturday with majority of our bets running well below their best, Goldfinch ran 2nd at $10.

Here's what Mark had to say:

Down 3.7u for the week after a promising midweek.  Very disappointing day on Saturday - they'll be plenty of days where you don't get a collect, but most selections underperformed badly on this occasion.

Wyong (Tuesday)

Miss Powerbelle - Very solid in the market, but was under pressure to keep up with the flying first-upper Miss Invincible and folded late.  She had rated really well first-up and I thought she'd come back a better horse, but it flattened her for this race.  Possibly worth forgiving if she finds a suitable race next time.

Canterbury (Wednesday)

Southern Romance & Light Exceed - Was happy to play the on-pacers with the rail out here.  They sat 1-2 and in the run and the well backed Light Exceed was able to hold on for us, while Southern Romance, who was abit easy, weakened out.

Knowitall Jack - Another leader got the job done here.  This race appears to have rated pretty poorly, so the horse may not be any star, but he was still a solid bet here given the map and the standard of opposition.

Rosehill (Saturday)

Exceed The Stars - Liked him on the basis that he'd lead, and be a long way in front of the favourite in the run.  He fell out of the gates, which ended his chances, but he did very little in the run.  I'd also underestimated the winner Lucicello - she won at nice odds for us at Kensington the start before, but I thought she was flattered by getting to the best ground that day.  That's not the case, obviously, and she showed the same turn of foot after a quiet ride again here.

Makdanife - Thought it was a fair race to bet into with Ilwendo being too short in the early market, but mispriced the winner Our Candidate.  I was concerned that he may not repeat his very good previous start heavy track run on a drier surface, but he did that and more.  Makdanife was solid in the market but a well beaten fourth.

Front Sight - Had been narrowly beaten for us at Warwick Farm at his last start.  He stargazed a bit late that day, and I was confident that the addition of blinkers would switch him on here.  They made little impact at all as it turned out, as after a perfect run he again didn't really attack the line.  The horse has plenty of ability but lacks a bit of desire.

Take It Intern - Was solid in the market until late - drifted markedly in the last few minutes.  Had a perfect run but only plodded to the line.

You Make Me Smile & Goldfinch - The market seemed to suggest that You Make Me Smile was primed to go first-up, but he raced like a horse that was a run short.  Goldfinch was probably the only selection to run up to its best for us on the day, gave a sight in front at odds but was outgunned by the favourite.

Greyworm - Horrible to watch, bungled the start then raced wide and did very little.  In retrospect, I've priced him too aggressively given the poor strike rate of the apprentice riding him.  It certainly wasn't his fault alone that it was beaten, but he did it no favours and he probably should have been marked longer.

John’s Analytics

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/johns-analytics/

Week: -4.3 units profit (-40.2% POT)

Overall: 273.7 units profit (11.1% POT)

No result across Monday and Tuesday before a profitable day on Thursday with our one each way play Mista Busy filling a place at $13. Small loss Friday before a profitable but unlucky Saturday. One collect with EW play Luvya Beak running 2nd at $34, EW plays Electric Ellyse $21 & Accountant $18 both ran 4th. Small loss on Sunday to close out the week. 34 units profit at 32% POT over the past 5 weeks.

Greyhound Genius

https://www.winningedgeinvestments.com/products/greyhound-genius/

Week: -10.0 units profit (-100.0% POT)

Overall: 1022.7 units profit (14.1% POT)

No result on what was a quiet week for members just having the two bets. Bit Flash was well backed on Wednesday night but was unable to get the job done for us. Despite the loss we sit at a remarkable 402 units profit in just over the past 11 months.
