A huge Tuesday going 3/3 & clearly highlighted by Nine Clouds at $10.40!! Small win on Wednesday with Aberdeen Queen saluting at $2.50. Also a minor win on Thursday driven by Cane Cutter at Murwillumbah. Minor loss Friday before a nice day on Saturday highlighted by Vitesse $6 & Quotant $2.60.

We had a rare Monday bet to kick off the week and it was worth it with Nangar Silk bolting in at Grafton. 1 bet for 1 winner on Wednesday night with Ritza Coen saluting at Wentworth Park. Close to another big day on Thursday with our two bets King Kalyn & Pete Tanga both running 2nd (21.5u worth). We bet into one race on Saturday night & landed the cash with Tommy Shelby proving too speedy at $2.90!

A strong day on Saturday. Winners included Calypso Reign $5.20, Elixir $4.90 & Royal Witness $4.40. We weren’t far off a massive day with Nerodio running 2nd at Belmont (10.4u worth).

We go 1/4 across the weekend but still finish in front & make it 4/4 winning rounds to start the season thanks to the Warriors defeating the Broncos. We also had a good bet on the West Tigers +5.5, who looked like covering for the entire match before conceding a late try and losing 19-12.

It was the perfect start to the week on Wednesday with our one bet at Kensington Dancing Gidget bolting in at $4. Unfortunately, no joy across Thursday & Saturday. Main bet of the day Threeood $7.10 ran 2nd at Randwick on Saturday (8.5u worth).

Eastern Pegasus at $5.50 our one winner across the week which came on Saturday at Echuca. Rippa Choice ran a very narrow 2nd at Sandown on Wednesday (3.3u worth).

Bluey's Ready and Bumper Humper won for us in a losing week. Biggest bet of the week Magic Ruler ran 2nd at $7 for a 10.5u collect, as did Aristo Missile. The disappointment was finding and backing at great fixed odds horses like My Girl Ruby ($7.50 into $5), Pacific Ocean ($8 into $4) and I'm Magical ($11 into $4) and not nailing a big result. The maths was in our favour but the results weren't unfortunately.

Breakeven on Tuesday with Crisscross winning, whilst Al's Briefs $8 and Starfilly $4 both ran 2nd worth 12u

One betting race on Wednesday and Tavirun ran 2nd at $11 for a 5.5u collect

One bet on Friday on Awkward where we secured $6, it firmed heavily into $3 favourite and ran 2nd beaten a head for a 6u collect

On Saturday Jami Lady won in our only betting race at Eagle Farm, but at Flemington we had a run where in 5 races we had our main bet run 2nd in 4 of those races; Alcyone (nose) $6.30, Great Again (head) $6, La Tigresa $3 and Grinzinger Allee $7, worth a total of 25u

On Sunday, our main bet Cogliere firmed from $5.50 into $3.40 favourite but ran 4th. Fortunately, Rocky Path won impressively at $8.40 to save the day.

After a mammoth 110u worth of 2nds last month (including 2 runners at 60/1), it's hard to believe we started this month with another 36u worth of 2nds. Time for a change of luck.
