Race 1: Maiden Plate 1050m

Magic Sunset on debut here for McEvoy, has trialled well and finds a winnable race here. Virtual Insanity resumes for the Hayes yard, has been given a quiet trial, must be respected here. Interram on debut for Weir, has trialled ok, market watch.

Race 2: Sabois 3YO BM 64 Handicap 1100m

Golden Halo has been good in both her career runs to date, will settle back here and should be strong late. Cross Legend was a dominant winner 1st up in an easier race, Kah stays on, big chance here. Gytrash was very impressive winning 1st up, has trialled nicely since, with a positive ride from the awkward barrier, he will give them something to catch.

Race 3: Sabois + BM 70 Handicap 2025m

Netherfield comes here from Victoria after contesting stronger races and steps up to the 2000m for the first time this prep, looks set to peak. Super Swoop is flying, strong win last start, maps to get a soft run here and will be strong late. Arcturos was a dominant winner 1st up, steps up to the 2000m, maps well, big chance.

Tough race, staying out.

Race 4: Mares BM 75 Handicap 1100m

Freehearted has been good in both runs this prep, will settle back here but there looks good speed up front, will be strong late. Fancy Rumble is consistent as they come, will go back here and be making ground late. Miss Jane is a talented type resuming off a long spell, has not trialled, market watch.

Race 5: BM 64 Handicap 1200m

Lady Soma outclassed in a much stronger race last start, finds a winnable race here, maps well and the stable are flying. Star Search hasn’t had much luck in his past two starts, looks ready to improve, will settle back and be strong late. Bajan is racing very well, will have to go well back here from the barrier and be strong late.

Race 6: Morphettville Guineas 1600m

Approach Discreet was brilliant last start, a dominant winner, this is tougher but he looks right up to it, map looks a touch tricky, with even luck will be too strong for these. Fun Fact is racing well, had an on pace bias to suit last start, would need to improve again to win here. Just Rolling still undefeated, this is a big step up, looks unders.

3 units – Approach Discreet @ $1.80

Race 7: BM 70 Handicap 1600m

Arty Lucas was solid last start on a track that was suiting on pacers, finds a winnable race here, barrier the concern. Wasabi Bob ran an improved race last start, maps well here and must be respected. Tell The Truth looks set to peak here with Kah going on, barrier the concern.

Wide open race, staying out.

Race 8: BM 90 Handicap 1200m

Iconoclasm was solid first up on a track that was suiting on pacers, unbeaten 2nd up, with a positive ride here, he will be hard to beat. Hard Empire is flying, can sit just off the speed here and prove hard to hold out. Romancer on debut here for Weir after coming over from New Zealand, big market watch.
