Coming off last week’s big winning period (+14 units - $1,400 profit for a $100 unit member) and highly profitable day last Saturday (+7.9u), Mark is taking advantage with the topline horses back in action for the big Group 1 races in the Autumn Carnival. It means there’s no better time to become a member of NSW Tips & Ratings.

MARK’S RACE OVERVIEW:
Castelvecchio and Shadow Hero are the two best horses here, and at current prices, I’m happy to be on both. They both showed they’d returned in good order, running on when unsuited over 1400m first up in the Hobartville Stakes. Shadow Hero absolutely dominated the Gloaming Stakes second up last time in – admittedly that was at 1800m but he did show tremendous improvement from his first-up run to his second-up performance. Castelvecchio returns to the scene of his dominant Champagne Stakes win as a two-yearold, one of his best performances to date. Brandenburg and Reloaded were both good in the Hobartville and should run well again, but if the two favourites are at or near their top they’ll find it hard to beat them. Microphone had his chance to beat this group of three-year-olds last start when he had a fitness edge, and I’m against him here.
