Race 1: Meadow Mist Plate 1000m

Al Dorama (1st) sat on the speed, showed a nice turn of foot, dug in strongly late to hold on. Nasaayim (2nd) sat on the speed, kept coming late but was never going to catch the winner. Fake (3rd) sat just in behind the speed and ran on late.

 

Race 2: Piping Lane Handicap 2000m

Pretty Punk (1st) sat in behind the leader, really knuckled down strongly late to score, going very well. Articus (2nd) led, travelled strongly on straightening, and looked the winner, knocked up late. Golden Mane (3rd) ran on in the straight.

 

Race 3: Seascay Handicap 1700m

Jacquinot Bay (1st) led and gave a good kick on straightening and has gone on to win well. The Chairman (2nd) settled towards the rear and ran on well in the straight. Sayed (3rd) sat on the speed and battled on well enough.

 

Race 4: Craftsman Handicap 1400m

Twitchy Frank (1st) led at a very solid tempo, gave a good kick on straightening, and has fought on well late, good win. Shalwa (2nd) and Tagreeda (3rd) both ran on well late from towards the rear.

 

Race 5: Rain Lover Handicap 1400m

Mr Money Bags (1st) box seated, gap opened in the straight, knuckled down well late to score. Crystal Spirit (2nd) sat outside the leader, showed a nice sprint to take over, winner was just too strong late. Montaser (3rd) had a lovely run in transit, didn’t do enough in the straight.

 

Race 6: Arbroath Handicap 1100m

Annrhon (1st) had a nice run just off the speed, kept finding late to hold them off, tough effort. Bob of the Head (2nd) had a nice run, let down well, and looked the winner 100m out, winner fought back and was too strong. Strykinglee (3rd) settled worse than midfield, ran on well late.

 

Race 7: Chester Manifold Stakes 1400m

On pace dominated. Burning Front (1st) led and gave a good kick in the straight, kept finding to win. Chamois Road (2nd) sat just off the speed, battled on well in the straight. Dollar for Dollar (3rd) sat on the speed and battled on well enough in the straight.

 

Race 8: Better Beyond Plate 1100m

Ken’s Dream (1st) settled worse than midfield, peeled to the outside fence and let down strongly, drew away, dominant win. Demonstrate (2nd) settled towards the rear, never got into clear running until the 100m mark, ran on strongly late. Thermal Current (3rd) battled on well.

 

Race 9: Tauto Handicap 1400m

Sharing (1st) had a nice run midfield, travelled up to them strongly and put them away quickly, drew away, good win. Jester Angel (2nd) was caught wide on the speed, travelled up strongly and still let down well, winner was just too strong. Khutulun (3rd) made steady ground late from the rear.
